At Desi Forge Co., every piece is meticulously handcrafted from authentic, heavy-duty automotive and industrial parts. Because of the nature of upcycled metal and manual welding, slight variations in finish, texture, and patina are part of the art and are not considered defects.
1. Return Eligibility
Due to the heavy weight and custom nature of our products, we do not offer returns or refunds for “change of mind.” We only accept returns or requests for replacement under the following conditions:
- The item arrived physically damaged during transit.
- The item has a functional or electrical defect (e.g., faulty lamp wiring).
You must notify us within 7 days of receiving the delivery to be eligible for a return or exchange.
2. The “Unboxing Video” Requirement
To protect against transit fraud, we highly recommend taking a continuous, unedited unboxing video when your package arrives. If your piece arrives damaged, please send the unboxing video and clear photos of the damage to our WhatsApp or email immediately.
3. Exchanges and Replacements
If your item is defective or damaged upon arrival, we will repair or replace it at no additional cost to you. We will arrange for the pickup of the damaged item.
4. Refunds (If Applicable)
If a replacement is not possible, we will initiate a full refund.
- Once your return is received and inspected at our workshop, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, your refund will be processed automatically to your original method of payment (via Razorpay). Please allow 5 to 7 business days for the amount to reflect in your bank account or credit card statement.
5. Shipping Returns (For Non-Defective Items)
If an exception is made and a return is authorized for a reason other than damage or defect, you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs to return the heavy item to our workshop. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
